Sri. Umayalpuram Sivaraman has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan during the republic day celebrations.

This is the highest of the three prestigious Padma awards. He is already a recipient of the other two awards - Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. He is just one step away from getting the country's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.
Kudos to the legend and his talent.
