Some musicians enthrall while some educate. There are some who have this intricate ability of being able to do both. A recent example of this is what I found in Sri. Chitraveena N Ravikiran's concert for Music Education Trust where he presented his compositions. All the songs were indicative of the genius's talent. The concert was enthralling because all the songs are very well composed and bright, and they were educative as they captured the mood and bhAva of the raga.
It was held at Sri Parvati, Eldams Road. Hoping to listen to many more such programmes.
